Amazon has revealed the full Prime Gaming lineup for August 2025, and while the number of titles isn’t massive, the quality speaks for itself. This month brings a mix of cult classics, strategy favorites, and charming indies—all available for Prime members to claim at no extra cost.

Prime Gaming Free Games August 2025

The August lineup includes 12 games that Prime members can claim throughout the month via Prime Gaming. As usual, Amazon is rolling these out in weekly waves and as of now, the first three titles are already available. They dropped on the first Thursday of the month, and the rest will follow every Thursday through August.

The biggest highlight so far is Sid Meier’s Civilization III: Complete Edition, which became available on August 7. First released in 2001, this legendary strategy game still offers deep turn-based gameplay and massive replayability. It remains a standout entry in the Civilization franchise and adds real value to this month’s selection.
