TimeSplitters Rewind, a fan-made project to bring the classic 2000 PS2 launch title and its sequels back to life, is out now, 13 years after the game was first revealed to fans.

TimeSplitters Rewind plans to be the definitive title for the classic trilogy, merging content from TimeSplitters 1, 2, and Future Perfect into one package.

At launch, the game’s focus is on offering a “subset of both existing content from the original games and some new content,” including popular maps, characters, and game modes that defined the original games.

Rewind is in Early Access, with the developers keen to stress to players that they will encounter bugs, missing features, and frequent updates as the full release approaches.
