Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 Delayed by Don’t Nod

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 has been delayed by Don’t Nod as the developer looks to polish it ahead of its release. The second half of the narrative-driven adventure will now launch on April 15, 2025.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is an upcoming narrative adventure by the creators of Life is Strange, Don’t Nod.

Split into two parts, Tape 1 will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 18. Tape 2 will now follow on April 15 as a free download.

Why Tape 2 Is Delayed

Tape 2 was initially due to launch on March 18, a month after Tape 1. Unfortunately, Don’t Nod has pushed it back to April 15 to allow for “additional optimization” and to “refine” the experience.

The latest delay follows last year’s after Don’t Nod pushed the game’s release into 2025 to avoid Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

What Fans Can Expect from Tape 2

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage sees Don’t Nod return to the genre that made them so popular. Set 27 years after the summer of 1995, a group of friends find themselves confronting the dark secrets they promised never to speak about again.

The story unfolds through the players’ choices the player makes, with multiple endings and branching pathways available. With so many options and different ways to experience the story, Lost Records has great replayability.

When Will Tape 2 Be Released?

Because of the delay, Lost Records Tape 2 will release on April 15 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Tape 1 is still on course for its February 18 deadline, and Tape 2 will be a free download on all platforms when it finally launches.
