Star Fox Demo Download is Live on eShop
Last month, Nintendo officially announced that Star Fox, its remake of Star Fox 64, will launch on June 25, 2026 for Switch 2. The reveal gave fans a fresh look at the beloved rail shooter, rebuilt with visuals and presentation designed to take advantage of Nintendo’s latest hardware. It was one of the company’s biggest announcements of the season and quickly became one of the most anticipated releases on the Switch 2 calendar.
Because the game already received its own dedicated Direct presentation and had a release date locked in, many fans didn’t expect Star Fox to make another appearance during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct. But it did. And it came bearing gifts.
While much of the presentation focused on new game reveals and release date announcements, Star Fox arrived with something players could enjoy immediately, a free demo for the game.
Available now through the Nintendo eShop, the demo includes the game’s tutorial, some cutscenes, and one mission. Depending on how much time you spend watching the cutscenes, the demo lasts roughly 30 to 45 minutes. It’s not a lot but it’s a solid preview for anyone curious about the remake or still deciding whether to pick up the full game later this month.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
