Two More Games Join Xbox Game Pass Premium
Xbox Game Pass Premium continues to get a lot of love this month with another 2-game drop today. Starting August 19, 2026, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X and Relooted will be available to Xbox Game Pass Premium members at no additional cost.
Both titles originally launched day one into Xbox Game Pass in February. As part of Microsoft’s current approach to the different Game Pass tiers, games that launch day one can eventually expand to Premium after spending at least six months in the service’s higher tiers.
While Premium members get 2 games today, Ultimate and PC Game Pass members aren’t completely left out. Vapor World Over the Mind launched today in Early Access/Game Preview and straight into Xbox Game Pass for these two tiers.
These three games mark the start of the Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Wave 2 lineup.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is a 2D roguelite action game that pairs the franchise’s fast-paced combat with a fresh narrative. You take on the role of Ace, the only person able to enter an alternate dimension called the Sea of Possibility. Guided by a team of researchers from a facility known as the Lab, your goal is to collect special shards to prevent the world from collapsing.
Your repeated runs through this realm gradually unlock a deeper mystery, as Ace starts to experience physical changes and memories that reveal the truth behind the destruction and a force known as the Power of Azure.
Relooted is an Africanfuturist heist game set in the late 21st century where your main goal is to recover 70 real-life African artifacts from Western museums. Playing as Nomali, you build a crew of everyday citizens from across the continent, ranging from a hacker to a surprisingly capable grandmother, to help pull off these jobs.
The gameplay revolves around two phases, starting with a preparation stage where you solve puzzles and strategically position your teammates along your planned getaway route. Once you grab the artifact, a countdown timer begins, shifting the focus to action as you rely on Nomali’s flow-based parkour skills to make a smooth escape before you get caught.
